After a few days of cold Californian weather (lower 50s), today the golden sun brought warmth back like a normal day (70s). I finally was able to wear this brand new skort and t-shirt from BooHoo, an English e-commerce website that sells ah-mazing items. I know I am a little late on this trend, but I managed to get my hands on one. Anyway, I wanted an "athletic" look, hence, my Nike FreeRuns (old). I love the sneaker trend...sneakers + your ootd = comfort. p.s. these are my dogs...Chip & Spots shirt, skort: BooHoo.com | jacket: H&M | sneakers: NIKE | bag: F21 photography by JohnJ
It has been about 3 months since moving in to our new home in Fairview Heights and we have finally explored a little. We went for a donut at a famous and award winning donut shop, Randy's Donuts. It is a well known "landmark" in Inglewood and has been featured in many shows. It's iconic and definitely a good backdrop (aside from having amazing donuts). I styled my new houndstooth blouse from the clearance section at Target with a pleated skirt from Forever 21. Although I usually like to tuck in blouses when wearing skirts, I added a little edge by not doing so to focus on the style of the blouse and its autumn colors (Oxblood & Navy Blue). I love this look so much I am going to focus on adding more of these blouses to my wardrobe! outfit: blouse: Target | skirt, necklace: F21 | bag, blazer: MNG | shoes: Steve Madden | sunnies: Kardashian Kollection photos by John J Happy Styling, Cindy

I was crushing on this "grid" pattern when I saw Heidi Klum wear a Tibi ensemble that was to die for. Unfortunately, the blouse and skirt have been sold out and I was going crazy searching for this pattern. It was last weekend that a friend was wearing a blouse from Forever 21 that was inspired from Tibi, except it was a button up, and I immediately went online searching every item. I then encountered the blouse that I am wearing here and ordered it! There are only size Large remaining now...but i love it! pants: H&M | blouse, clutch: F21 | beanie: Target | blazer: MNG (old) | shoes: Steve Madden | sunnies: Ray Ban | watch: MK photography by Jesse. ZARA Dress | Ily Necklace | Steve Madden Backpack | Aldo Shoes | Illesteva Sunnies As you know from a few posts ago, I love electric blue. I came across these ALDO booties from an ad I saw and fell in love with them. I decided to style it with a sweet black faux stripped dress from Zara and went with the edgy look by adding a cool black patent leather backpack from Steve Madden. Not to mention the cool mirror blue sunnies...I think it's awesome. Stay tuned for more current cravings... Happy Shopping, Cindy
"Ain't nobody messing with my click." lol. It's hard to not say that when my nephew dresses fresh every day for school. This little guy is learning about art in the form of clothes. He sometimes advices me on what I should wear...Future stylist? Maybe. photography by yours truly
Can I just say that I LOVE THIS BASEBALL CAP!!! It totally adds that OOMPH to this casual dress. Not to mention the bomber jacket...it makes it more sporty rather than casual. They are both definitely timeless pieces. Highly recommend you get your hands on one. dress, bag, jacket: H&M | shoes: Prabal Gurung x Target | bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target | baseball cap: F21 photography by yours truly. I've been a fan of this color ever since I saw the Céline clutch (below). I love this color! It's such a nice shade of blue (my favorite color) to wear and can make an ordinary outfit really go to the next level. I am definitely looking into wearing this color one way or another. source: Harpar Bazaar, Vogue, StockHolm Streetstyle Happy Styling, Cindy
What inspired me for this look today was Jessica Alba's famous up do hairstyles. I've been in the mood for different hair styles and looked for inspiration. I came across her hair up-do's for the red carpet and fell in love. I you tubed videos on how to do it, but none worked for me (I have long and thick hair). I then decided to try my own way...did an imperfect pony tail and then rolled in the the tail upward and pinned. Then, I teased my hair up front and sprayed some hair spray. The result is what you see here... Remember this sweater from the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target collaboration? It seemed that it was not one of the popular items (don't know why). I loved it! The color block, the style...it screams for attention. Green & blue look good together if you know where to stop. In this case, I just used a similar blue to that of the sweater for the bottom making the green really pop. I would also wear this with some navy blue trousers (dressy). As far as shoes, again...here I go with my go-to heels...leopard. They go with everything...lol sweater, skirt: Target | shoes: Steve Madden | necklace: ALDO | bag: H&M photography by John J p.s. You know how sometimes things are meant to be? Well, I finally got my hands on a "leather" baseball cap, thanks to my sister for spotting it at Forever 21. She said there were only a few left and she managed to get us some. Thanks, sis! As far as styling goes, remember my last Currently Craving post? I suggested boyfriend jeans, a white blouse and a black bag...well, I channeled that vision (kinda). I made a few slight changes...wore a tee (old) instead of a blouse and black heels instead of silver. I thought it was a laid back look. Eventually I'll get to wearing it with a white blouse...and those silver heels. p.s. I purchased this tee on Melrose in a shop called Happiness is a $10 tee. It is an inspired YSL tee. outfit: jeans, necklace, baseball cap: F21 | t-shirt: Happiness is a $10 tee | shoes: Nordstrom | bag: H&M | photography by Jesse V Happy Styling, Cindy
