Nasty Gal hosted a "Nasty Gals Do it Better" party at the Tropicana Bar, Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. Here is the outfit that I wore: tunic: H&M, shoes: Jeffrey Campbell, purse: American Apparel, tights: Target photos by Nancy V.
On my way driving to work from a meeting in West LA, I noticed something unusual on a blank wall on Robertson (my occasional route to work). While waiting for the red light to turn green, I was able to examine the image that was unusual. It was an image of a little boy peeing pink on the wall. After the light turned green, I immediately pulled over, grabbed my camera and walked towards the wall to snap some photos. I was excited to have encountered this because it was freshly posted (like couple of hours before I saw it and no one had yet to report it). I immediately thought it was Banksy's work that I luckily encountered, based on the image and the style. It's been reported that he could be in town, however, there's no official word that it is his work.
Here are ten random shots taken Thursday on a gloomy/shiny day with a hint of a double rainbow. (Yes, I wore sandals. I didn't check the weather "/) This is a "puffy taco" from Arturo's Puffy Tacos in Whittier. It was soooooooooo delicious! my beloved :) this is after the rainbow and the rain. photos by John and I.
Here is a video that I made and that John helped me edit. It is a gum ball machine that distributes the gum ball in a fun way. Gum Drop from Cindy Vazquez on Vimeo.
