Celebrated the first day of Autumn 2011 in this outfit and by going to the Salvation Army (where I scored two vintage Dooney & Burke handbags) and attending John's party at a friend's home. I purposely wanted to wear my rust skirt and my new headband on this day. I am psyched to wear warm colors this season...including burgundy, dark blue, tan, gray, black, and rust.

As we approach the end of the summer, I managed to wear these Steve Madden sandals, purchased from their clearance section, before summer was gone. They were sitting in my room for about 2 weeks and somehow I managed to style it with this Zara Collection blouse. I love the color combination and how this blazer makes it a more summery look.

I was finally able to get my hands on these Tardy boots by Jeffrey Campbell. I was drooling online ever since I saw them on Nasty Gal, but it was out of the budget. However, thanks to my best friend, Patrice, I was able to purchase these at a low price. Thanks girl!

On Saturday, September 10, 2011, my good friend from college finally tied the knot after six years of dating. I was happy to see her start a new life journey with the man that she loves. I'm delighted to share moments that I captured on this day with you guys.
