I've been craving this blazer lately and I wanted to pair it with pants. It's so much easier to work around one color block...seriously!

Sunday was fam-bam day. Spent the day with my sisters, brother, and gorgeous nephew. We drove to Cotton & Sons Pumpkin Patch, where admission was free, and spent the day walking on hay, petting the goats, snapping photos of Jimmie. It was a good day.

I am officially 9,125 days old as of yesterday. I now have 25 years living on this beautiful earth. I give thanks to my mother for giving birth to me, to my father, my sisters, and my brother for taking care of me. Thank you to my friends who have made me the way I am and to my John for making sure I'm always happy. Even if I ask for a bottled water from downstairs. I love you all!
p.s. lately, I've been in a Jimmy Eat World mood and came across this song
"Things are never gonna be quite what you want. Even at 25, you gotta start sometime." So, that means I need to get my head straight and think about my future now. You know, grown-up stuff.

These photos were taken at the Colorado Bridge in Pasadena. It was very, very late...hence the empty-ness. This trip was for my birthday eve photo shoot =)
For this post, I thought about including black & whites to compare with the colored. As I was editing these, I was intrigued how b&w can convey different feelings than the colored photos. In some instances, it demonstrates sadness and loneliness...like the ones below. In others, it can demonstrate the true feeling of that moment when it was taken.

This was a spontaneous 2 day trip to Seattle. We were craving a quick getaway and wanted to visit a location that wasn't too far nor too close. Seattle seemed perfect!
our trip consisted of:
*driving all around the area
*mimosas, breakfast
*paying parking passes
*googling stuff
*walking around Pike Market
*photo shoots
*museum stops
*Seattle dogs
p.s. my outfit was inspired by the Evergreen State =)
