Ain't nobody messing with my clique. John and I hosted this year at our new place and we all had a great time. It was great sharing, exchanging, and opening gifts. The smile on my nephew's face was priceless.                           Happy Holidays, everyone! I celebrated the shortest day of the year by going outdoor skating in Santa Monica with friends. It was fun, but crowded. I also had a festive photo shoot with my red dress that I've been waiting to wear since the spring. Now that Christmas came, I was able to wear it alongside my family and boyfriend. p.s. It was a fun gathering.                               photos bu John and myself Celebrated the first day of Autumn 2011 in this outfit and by going to the Salvation Army (where I scored two vintage Dooney & Burke handbags) and attending John's party at a friend's home. I purposely wanted to wear my rust skirt and my new headband on this day. John was scheduled a graveyard shift, which meant we had to make the most of our daytime. Aside from going to the auto shop for my smog check (which took forever), we relaxed at his house and picked up a cup of frozen yogurt. They go bowling...at least my friends and I did. On Sunday, we went to Pinz Bowling Center, which is a very hip bowling place. It is located in Studio City and is constantly visited by celebrities and it's also used as a film location for several shows. On this particular day, we encountered Terrell Owens, wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals.    They are equiped with new flat screens, new score keyboards and plus cool themes that you can select for your team. It was announced a few weeks ago that our friend, Kenneth Espaillat aka Kenny Palm Twiggs (I mean Trees), will be leaving his second home, Los Angeles, to move back to his roots/hometown, New York. Its been about 3 years since he joined our crew and we are glad he was a part of it (at least I was). He brought joy, laughs, and excitement at work and off-work. Surely, he will be missed (and his "out-of-control" beard). As a result of him moving back to New York, he invited everyone to his "Going Away BBQ" Sunday evening at his place and it was a blast. Almost everyone showed up and it was wonderful. All in all, we wish him the best of luck with everything.                            |  Cindy V
